Why is important to hire a make-up artist for your wedding/special occasion?

I am not sure what makeup look I want on my special day, can you help?
Yes absolutely! I suggest you begin looking through pinterest or other social media outlets and finding several make-up photos that you like. On your bridal trial, I will create a look based on what you like that will fit you, and help you create the look you are hoping to achieve, from vintage to modern to natural. I'll also help you identify and accentuate your most flattering features to reveal your natural beauty. It can be daunting trying to find a look that you want, but I promise the process will be painless.
Do you offer bridal trials? If so, what is the process of that?
I do offer bridal trials and would highly recommend it! During the trial, we will discuss and sample out the makeup style you've chosen and tweak it to fit you and make any changes if necessary. With trials, it will also allow you to wear the makeup for the day and see how it feels and holds up in preparation for your wedding day. Then come day of your wedding, we would have the look nailed down already and everything will be a breeze!
How long will the makeup last?
The makeup will last all day without needing any touch ups with the exception of lips (due to eating/drinking etc). As a professional makeup artist, I am able to apply and set your makeup to ensure it looks as beautiful in the first hour as it does in the 8th hour.
Why are false eyelashes necessary and can i opt out of using it?
In my opinion, false eyelashes complete a full makeup look. It is the finishing touch that adds that extra glam and sparkle to any look whether it be natural or dramatic. If you wear lash extensions, you may opt out of having additional false lashes applied. (Pricing adjusted for opting out of lashes.)
How long does makeup application take? and do you offer makeup services for other members of the bridal party?
Makeup applications are scheduled for 1 hour. It may take less time, but 1 hour would be allocated per person to ensure proper application with no rush or hurry.
The same time is allocated for other members of the bridal party or mother’s etc.
Can I hire you for partial makeup services? Ie. Just eyes, or just face?
Unfortunately I am not available for partial makeup services. For a look to be whole, complete and to represent my work, the makeup will need to be done by me from start to finish. This will also ensure the makeup will last all day. Unfortunately I do not touch up or do work or modification on other artist's work if there will be more than 1 makeup artist for your bridal party.
How far in advance should I book a makeup artist?
I would recommend to book your makeup artist as soon as you get engaged! LOL! Or as soon as possible. Wedding planning can sometimes be a nightmare (or so I've been told by previous brides), so since, in my opinion, getting makeup (and hair) services seems to be the cheapest and easiest part of planning a wedding, I'd recommend to get that out of the way, and hopefully that will ease some stress.
Do you travel to me and to the wedding? If s, what do you charge for travel?
Yes! I travel to you for the wedding day, this makes it more convenient for you, and we will be in the comfort of your own home or location for the wedding day. Cost of travel will vary depending on location.
